As part of its expansion plans and in an effort to establish its presence in Asia, Pedersen & Partners seeks to recruit a Country Manager who will be responsible for building Pedersen & Partners’ business in Indonesia from scratch. The person will be offered a clear career path to Partnership.

COUNTRY MANAGER

Responsibilities
  • Business development;
  • Building and managing relationships with clients and executives;
  • Building and managing a strong team in Indonesia;
  • Execution of senior level executive search assignments, whether developed alone or by other parts of the organization;
  • PR and positioning of the executive search firm towards the local market;
  • Ideally to be part of one or more cross-border industry practice groups;
  • Working with country organizations to strengthen relations with client companies in respective countries;
  • This person will be the legal representative of the company.
PROFILE
  • Indonesian national
  • Likely to be 30-50 years old, but we will not limit the search by this range
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Track record in sales in a B2B company, Management Consulting or General Management is a benefit, but the successful candidate might also have gained experience outside these functional areas
  • Fluent spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must, knowledge of other languages will be an asset
  • Dynamic, highly self-motivated and able to operate autonomously when necessary
  • Highest possible ethical and professional standards
  • Entrepreneurial - able to build business and should rather see this as an opportunity to build a business inside a business, than an employer-employee relationship
  • Highly international mindset    
  • Humble, practical, hands-on attitude, flexible, able to cope with high level management consulting issues as well as practical daily duties.
